Our mission
Polymath Foundation creates safe spaces where children in Ukraine can heal, learn, play, and simply be children again. Since 2024, we've reached over 2,600 children across 6 Ukrainian regions through daily classes, summer camps, and community programs.
The children of Ukraine have faced what no child should ever see or feel: war, displacement, loss. But we believe a happy childhood is every child's right — and we work every day to restore it.
What we do
We run the Polymath Center in Kyiv — our dedicated space welcoming around 50 children each day, Monday through Saturday, with new kids joining throughout the year. Programs include choreography, acrobatics, English, art therapy, acting, and vocals, taught by specialized instructors alongside psychologists providing ongoing support.
Our summer camps in Kyiv, the Carpathian Mountains, and partner facilities served 544 children in 2025. We organize healing retreats for children who lived under occupation, combining outdoor activities with therapeutic support.
Through community partnerships with local organizations and a network of 30+ volunteers, we extend our reach to holiday celebrations, special events, and humanitarian aid — welcoming 700 new children in Q4 2025 alone.
Our approach
We believe in doing the work directly, not just funding it from afar. Our team of 8 core members runs programs, works with children daily, and understands their needs firsthand. What makes us most proud isn't just the numbers — it's the moments: the child who smiled for the first time in months, the young dancers who won 3rd place at a national competition, the children who celebrated their childhood with joy in their hearts.
When we partner with other organizations, we share what we've learned and provide resources to help them succeed. This community support allowed us to serve nearly 1,700 children in 2025 while maintaining financial sustainability.
